Put this on the neck before bedtime. Sounds strange, but it helps with Thyroid Gland problems

The thyroid gland – organ located in the base of the neck. It releases hormones that control metabolism – the way your body uses energy. These hormones help in the regulation of vital body functions, including: heart rate, breathing, body weight, central and peripheral nervous systems, body temperature, cholesterol levels, menstrual cycles, muscle strength. There are two conditions:

Hyperthyroidism – it means having too much Triiodothyronine (T3) and Thyroxine (T4) in your body. Some of the symptoms of this condition are:

  • Irritability or moodiness
  • Nervousness, hyperactivity
  • Sweating or sensitivity to high temperatures
  • Hand trembling (shaking)
  • Hair loss
  • Missed or light menstrual periods

  • Sensitivity to cold temperature
  • Frequent, heavy periods
  • Joint and muscle pain

Onion – it can be a perfect solution if you have thyroid gland problems, more specifically if you suffer from hyperthyroidism, or increased function of the thyroid gland.

Why is that?

The onion has a lot of health benefits, and it contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. Some of them are: magnesium, manganese, potassium, as well as vitamins K, C and B6. It prevents the development of many chronic diseases, it kills pathogenic bacteria and it can clean the blood.

Doctor Igor Knjazkina from Moscow recommended a recipe using onions for stimulating the thyroid gland. According to him, this is the perfect solution for this particular problem.

So, what should you do?

First, cut onions in half. Use your both hands to do circular moves and gently rub the onion into your neck and the area around the thyroid gland. In this way the onion juice will act overnight. Wash it in the morning.
