I Was Diagnosed With Breast Cancer Yesterday, This Was The Only Symptom!

Sherry Rhodes, a mother of three, has recently found out that she has breast cancer. She decided  to share a picture on Facebook of one of the symptoms that indicated her illness in order to help all women around the world to  easier spot the dreaded disease and deal with it on time.

Although the main  and most common symptom of breast cancer is a bump inside the breast, Sherry noticed a dimpling on the side of her right breast. Since this happens very rarely in breat cancer patients, this symptom is largely unnoticed.

”I was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday. I am totally shocked because this little dentition (in the picture) was the only symptom I had. I noticed a dip in late June and went to my general practitioner who sent me to the clinic. I went to a scan and  the scan detected the presence of a mass, which the mammogram confirmed. I went to a biopsy the same day.. Since there were no lymph nodes, I wasn’t worried, but  unfortunately ,the results showed that it was still a case of breast cancer. I beg you, check your breasts regularly and do not ignore anything strange that you will notice. If I did not see similar photographs of dimplings myself, I would not have known that it was a symptom of cancer. Please share this news, “she wrote.
