Read These 12 Laws of Karma that Will Change Your Life Forever !
You have certainly heard this word somewhere. Karma…. What is Karma?
“Karma is the Sanskrit word for action. It is equivalent to Newton’s law of ‘every action must have a reaction’. When we think, speak or act we initiate a force that will react accordingly” In other words if you do good, good will come back to you and vice versa.
To learn more about the concept of karma look at 12 of Karma’s laws that may change your life:
- The Great Law: “As you sow, so shall you reap.”
It is very simple to understand: our thoughts and actions have their own consequences. This law works as a boomerang. Whatever one puts out into the Universe will come back to them.
For instance if we do something bad to someone it will get back at us eventually. On the other hand, if we spread love, peace and happiness and we respect people around us, we will also be happy, peaceful and respected.
- The Law of Creation: “What we desire comes through participation.”
Life doesn’t just HAPPEN, it requires our participation. Our intentions determine the evolution of creation since we are ONE with the Universe. We need to surround ourselves with what we want in order to have that in our life and to be ourselves.
- The Law of Humility: “Refusal to accept what is will still be what is.”
Acceptance is a near-universal virtue in many belief systems. Simply put, we must first accept the present circumstances in order to change them.
In focusing on the negative instead of making changes to address the negative, we’re committing to a zero-sum result.
- The Law of Growth: “Our own growth is above any circumstance.
”Wherever you go, there you are.” If we want to grow spiritually it is WE that must change, not the people, things or places that surround us.
All we have is ourselves and that is the only thing we have control over. When we change who and what we are within our hearts, our lives follow suit and change too.
- The Law of Responsibility: “Our lives are of our own doing, nothing else.”
You can’t just shrug responsibilities off your shoulders. If you do so, you will live a life of a coward who does nothing for himself and his society. Like habit, responsibilities also make a man. Therefore, take responsibilities of your mistakes and correct the wrong.
- The Law of Connection: “Everything in the Universe is connected, both large and small.”
“Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected. Our past, present and future are all connected.”
As such, we must put in the work to change these connections if we desire something different. Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on. So remember: Whatever you might be doing now is never really a waste because it will come to your aid some time later, if not now.
- The Law of Focus: “One cannot direct attention beyond a single task.”
“You cannot think of two things at the same time.”
If we want to achieve any desired task we must direct our full attention to it. If our focus is on Spiritual Values, it is not possible for us to have lower thoughts like greed or anger..
- The Law of Hospitality and Giving: “Demonstrating our selflessness shows true intentions.”
I other words: what we claim to believe must manifest into our actions. If you believe something to be true, then sometime in your life you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth.
“Without a selfless nature, true spiritual growth is nearly impossible”
- The Law of Change: “History repeats itself unless changed.”
Conscious commitment to change is the only method of influencing the past. History will continue along an unconstructive path until positive energies direct it elsewhere.
“Old thoughts, old patterns of behaviour, old dreams prevent us from having new ones.”
You are going to play the old record until you embrace the new one. It is when you decide to make some changes and adapt to a new lifestyle that you see your life improved.
10. The Law of Here and Now: “The Present is all we have.”
Looking back regretfully and forward pointlessly robs oneself of a present opportunity. Old thoughts and patterns of behavior negate the present chance to advance ourselves.
11. The Law of Patience and Reward: “Nothing of value is created without a patient mindset.”
“All Rewards require initial toil”. Remember that our rewards are claimed only through persistence and patience. True joy comes from doing what one is supposed to be doing, and knowing that the reward will come in its own time.
12. The Law of Significance and Inspiration: “The best reward is one that contributes to the Whole.”
This law states the fundamental law of karma that – as you sow, so shall you reap. It is as simple as : “Treat others how you’d want to be treated”
